Metal Roof Installation
A standing-seam system built for 40+ years — concealed fasteners, straight lines, and an attic that finally breathes.
The Challenge
Three Repairs in Four Years on a Sun-Beaten Shingle Roof
The homeowners loved their Georgetown lot but not their roof: a south-facing shingle slope that cooked every summer, curled by year twelve, and had already been patched three times. They wanted the last roof they would buy for this house — something hail-resilient, energy-smart, and sharp enough to lift the whole exterior.
Our Approach
Standing Seam, Straight Panels, Zero Exposed Fasteners
We stripped to the deck, installed high-temperature synthetic underlayment, and ran 24-gauge standing-seam panels with concealed clips so the metal can expand and contract without working screws loose. New ridge vent, color-matched flashing at every penetration, and a reflective bronze finish that cut peak attic temperatures by 18 degrees on our follow-up visit.
“The lines are laser straight and the house is noticeably cooler upstairs. Neighbors stop to ask who did it.”
